I first met Beth and Ryan when they asked me to photograph their family. Fast forward a couple of years and here I am photographing their wedding.
Beth and Ryan were torn about their right to marry while others from the (LGBTIQ) community were still denied this basic right. It was 2017 and the postal vote for marriage equality was yet to happen. Transgender people who satisfied the ” union of a man and a woman” status of the marriage law, could be legally wed. On this beautiful spring day, surrounded with friends and family and a whole lot of love Beth and Ryan got married.
