Earbus Foundation – Social Change Maker

Earbus Foundation W.A. Pilbara Tour.

Earbus Foundation WA, winner of the 2018 Telstra Social Change Maker Award, invited me to photograph the work they do in remote Aboriginal communities. Donating a portion of my time to do Pro-Bono work is an important part of my business practice.

Earbus Foundation is a Western Australia based Children’s charity. They work to reduce the incidence of middle ear disease in Aboriginal and at-risk children.  The Foundation brings together experts from Education, Health, Culture and Communities.

The Earbus Program takes healthcare to Aboriginal people. Designed by Aboriginal people, for Aboriginal people, it keeps children in the treatment pathway from first contact to wellness.

PHOTOGRAPHY FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
Part of my work as the social photographer is connecting with communities and merging social activism and art for change. Telling the stories of everyday lives through photography in an effort to build understanding across diverse communities.
