Melbourne Botanical Gardens Wedding – Documentary Wedding Photography

The premise of documentary style wedding photography, is you go with the flow. This is how this wedding ebbed and flowed.

The orignal plan was “Meet us at home and we’ll go from there”. Well, that was the plan!  At 11am on the morning of the wedding, I called to confirm. “Nope, not doing that anymore. Meet us at the Langham Hotel instead, we’ll go from there”.

And so began the most relaxed, go with the flow, awesomely fun wedding I have ever photographed.  I loved this family’s easy going attitude.

After 16 years and one beautiful daughter, they finally decided to tie the knot.  As Pete said “why rush things” and that attitude pretty much summed up the day.
