A wedding is a wedding is a wedding. It makes no difference if it’s a multi-cultural, straight or same-sex wedding. It’s about the love, the people and the party and let’s just say, some people really know how to party!
Francesca’s Bar isn’t the biggest venue, but if you’re getting married and just want to party with family and a few (200) friends, it’s the place to be.
A small venue and large circle of friends was always going to be a challenging photo-shoot. As a documentary photographer being invisible is critical to capturing unguarded moments.
When we arrived at the bar, the place was packed! Everyone had gathered in the main room for the main event. Getting through the sea of people to capture candid moments felt like a salmon swimming upstream – with a camera! Not the easiest wedding I’ve ever photographed but definitely one of the most fun weddings!
Shakespeare wrote “the fragrance of the rose lingers on the hand that cast it.” Stella and Kylie must have cast a lot of roses, because that little bar on High Street was filled with the fragrance of friendship and love.
“I was lucky enough to stumble across Lisa’s work for the In Bed Project and decided to book her for our wedding. Lisa’s style was amazingly suited to our wedding and captured the essence of the day perfectly. She is responsive and helpful – and affordable. Much love to you Lisa x”
