Zita and Levente’s Elopement – Treasury Gardens

Tuesday is a great day for an elopement wedding in the Treasury Gardens. Eloping often means to get married without telling anyone, especially your parents. It may also mean, as in this case, you forgo the formal wedding and elope for the ceremony.

Originally from Hungary, Zita and Levente now call Australia home. I know from personal experience when you migrate to a new land it can take a while to establish friendships. So when Zita explained they didn’t know many people in Australia and asked if I would be a witness, I said yes, even though I had no idea how I was going to be both a witness and a photographer simultaneously. Luckily for me, her make-up artist offered to be the second witness and I was free to photograph my first ever elopement wedding.
