My style of photography is often called candid or documentary. What does that mean? It means I don’t run around posing everyone, instead I become part of your day, a quiet observer of things. I capture the real, the candid, the natural.
Yes. A 50% deposit will secure your date. All deposits are non-refundable, but where possible I am happy to reschedule.
Full payment is required one week prior to your photo date.
All my photographic packages include a free travel zone in the flat-fee price. If you live within a 20km radius from Melbourne CBD it’s in the free zone. However, if your favorite location is outside the free travel zone for your selected package, for example, you want to travel to Regional Victorica, NSW or NYC, the location is classified as non- local and additional travel fees, like airfares and accommodation may apply. We can discuss this when you get in touch
Yes, there is a 20% surcharge on all packages.
Of course I will. Important note: Remember to allow travel time between each location when you are planning your day and considering how many hours you will require me.
It varies depending on how many hours you require – but you will receive all the edited images. What does that mean? It means all the images that have passed the Lisa White test. (Please note – while you will not receive all the images taken on the day – you will receive the best).
Your edited, professionally finished digital images will be delivered via a personal Dropbox link. The digital files (for non-commercial use only) will be in high-resolution, suitable for printing your own album and enlargements up to A4 and in low-resolution suitable for easy social sharing
Events: within 7 – 10 days
Weddings: within 14 – 21 days
Express service available: If you need your photos extra fast I can usually accommodate this, additional fees may apply.
Most people think a clear sunny day is the perfect light for photos. Generally isn’t.
Think… Search light (aka mid-day sun) VS Candle light (aka sunrise/sunset) Harsh light causes harsh shadows and generally is very unflattering.
Early morning or late afternoon light tends to be a softer light and casts an even light across your beautiful face. The light at this time is your friend. If possible try to avoid harsh mid-day sun… it is not your friend.
If you’re going to book a Videographer make sure they’re nice. We’ll both be vying for the best shot, so a videographer that knows how to share is a good choice. Choosing the “nice videographer and nice photographer” combo ensures you’ll end up with a great video and photo story.
Short answer, no. Long answer would be the same but longer like, noooo.
I know a couple of professional printing services I can recommend so you can print your own photos without the hefty photographer’s mark-up.
See short and long answers above.
If your package is for four hours or more the answer is YES.
Catch-ups are generally scheduled at my other office Monday to Wednesday between 6pm – 8pm. I know we all lead busy lives so I’m happy to discuss possible (days/times) alternatives.
Copyright in the photographs remains with the photographer aka me. You can use the photos on social media and you can print as many as you need for your personal, non-commercial use. All the legalities are covered in my booking form.
Use of images for commercial purposes will incur licensing fees. If you receive an inquiry to use the images for commercial purposes, i.e. a venue wants to use one of your wedding photos for their advertising, or blog etc, please refer the inquiry to me so I can assist them.
